On Thursday 19th October 2023 Directbor won top prize at the Geelong Business Excellence Awards. The 2023 Business of the Year Award was sponsored by LBW Business & Wealth Advisors. “The judges thought Directbor was an excellent first year entrant who ticked all the boxes for business excellence,” chair of the GBEA judging panel Simon Flowers said. We also won this years Innovation, Research and Development Award, sponsored by Viva Energy. “Their achievements stand as a testament to the strength and resilience of the Geelong business community.”
American Auger
Over the last two months Directbor has acquired an 80 x 100 drill and also boasts its largest rig, Our American auger 100,000 pound rig. The aggressive move in purchasing both of these rigs has put us in a strong position to deliver large scale pipelines in house and turnkey for our clients, minimising the needs for third party rig support and maximizing project delivery times.
